20/01/2024: The Competition starts. 30 participants will be present at a mysterious location.

14/01/2024: Train tickets for participants starting their journey in Hungary or Poland have been bought. Two spots are still available.

07/01/2024: Train tickets for participants starting their journey in Czechia or Slovakia have been bought.

05/01/2024: Spontaneous candidatures are now open. Three spots have become available due to some candidates not following the event's instructions after qualifying and confirming their participation. First-come, first-served basis applies. Candidates are asked to submit a 500 to 600-word essay discussing their main motivations for joining the event and describing their vision of an ideal competition (will be checked for the use of AI - prohibited). Only serious candidates will be accepted. Cancellation of the participation will result in the payment of cancellation costs.

20/12/2024: Last Call ended. Complete results from all applications and qualification rounds are published here.

05/12/2024: Results of the Qualification Round for Poland. Candidates to go: 34, 35, 36, 37.

04/12/2024: As the quota for Hungary and Slovakia remained unused and some qualified candidates decided not to confirm their participation, a last call has been launched and will last until 20 December 2024. Again, it is open to any university in the V4 region, including its partner universities. Follow the instructions in the Key Info section.

01/12/2024: The Applications Round for Czechia, Hungary and Slovakia ended. As the quotas for Hungary and Slovakia were not fully used and there were 4 candidates in Czechia for the 4 available slots, all candidates qualify automatically.

01/12/2024: The Applications Round for Poland ended.

23/11/2024: The selected candidates from partner universities must firmly confirm their participation by November 30; otherwise, they will be replaced. All 16 selected candidates will get a questionnaire in early December 2024.

07/11/2024: Qualification Round for Poland will take place on 5/12 8:30 pm-8:45 pm.

05/11/2024: Results of the Qualification Round for the University of Applied Sciences. Candidates to go: 26, 27, 28, 33.

01/11/2024: The Applications Round for the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa ended. Candidates from other universities of all V4 countries are still able to submit their applications by late November 2024.

18/10/2024: Qualification Round for the University of Applied Sciences to take place on 04/11 8:00-8:15 pm.

07/10/2024: Results of the Qualification Round for the University of Pécs. Candidates to go: 9, 10, 12, 16.

04/10/2024: Results of the Qualification Round for the Matej Bel University. Candidates to go: 14, 17, 21, 22.

01/10/2024: The Applications Round for the Matej Bel University and University of Pécs ended. Candidates from other universities of all V4 countries and from the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa are still able to submit their applications until late October 2024.

29/09/2024: Qualification Round for the Matej Bel University to take place on 02/10 8-8:15 pm.
